The hosting of COP30 in Belém (PA) marks a historic moment for the global climate debate and reinforces Brazil’s leadership in discussions on the energy transition and the fight against socioenvironmental disinformation.

NetLab UFRJ has been consolidating itself as a national and international reference in debates on the integrity of climate information.

Our studies have been used by public authorities, civil society organizations, and international bodies to strengthen public policies and advocacy strategies in favor of more ethical, transparent, and evidence-based communication.
They are also frequently published in leading academic journals in the field of communication, both in Brazil and abroad.
